Jaipur: After his surrender before Jaipur Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava on Wednesday, Congress MLA Girraj Singh Malinga said he did so on the directions of the CM but also blamed the DGP ML Lather for the case against him.

“The court will pronounce the sentence. Is section 307 used for breaking hands and feet? The injured AEN is repeatedly turning back from his own statement. I didn’t run away. I was staying at my residence,” he told the media while surrending.

Malinga & others are accused of assault on AEN Harshdapati & a JEN of Discom in Dholpur’s Bari.

Malinga was taken to Dholpur Sadar police station where case was filed. A crowd of supporters gathered outside police station. They offered to get arrested with him. There was joy among electricity employees after surrender. Electricity officers-employee-engineer Sangharsh Samiti called meeting & distributed sweets.
