Hiring process of new heads begins

Jaipur: In the organ transplant fake NOC case, the resignations of SMS Medical College Principal Dr Rajeev Bagrahatta, SMS Superintendent Dr Achal Sharma have been accepted. Dr Bhandari has been removed from the post of SOTO Chairman. And now with this, the process for appointment of new heads of these medical and health bodies has started.

Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar has sought proposals of four names each from the department for the post of Principal and Superintendent. Meanwhile, some doctors have begun lobbying.

Questions are being raised about the viability of a separate doctor responsible for clinic work. Khimsar had asked for the resignation a few days ago. Bagrahatta reached the hospital in a private vehicle & distanced himself from meetings and did not go to his room.
