Head constable dies by suicide in Jpr

Jaipur: A head constable stationed at Bhankrota Police Station of Jaipur died by suicide on Thursday by hanging himself at the Bhankrota police outpost. HC Babulal Bairwa’s body was sent to SMS Hospital’s mortuary.

In his suicide note, the deceased has demanded a CBI investigation against those who had troubled him, and called for intervention from CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and Dy CM Dr. Premchand Bairwa.

Congress leaders including Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully and PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasra condemned the incident and demanded impartial probe. “The news of Head Constable Babulal Bairwa’s suicide is unfortunate. Babulal has made serious allegations of harassment against many people including senior officials in the suicide note. I ask for an impartial investigation of this case and take strict action against the culprits,” said Jully.

Meanwhile, arious organizations of Dalit society protested at the SMS hospital demanding action against culprits.
