Jaipur: High voltage drama was witnessed during the havan at Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage on Monday where the city BJP workers came to protest about public problems and the Congress councillors came to perform a yagna to eliminate the lumpy skin disease. Mayor Munesh Gurjar said that she would not wear slippers until the disease ailing the cattle subsided. Despite closing the gates, BJP workers entered through other routes and sat down near the havan venue. Meanwhile, when Gurjar reached and havan began, the protest also started. Furious, the pandit also stopped the havan in the middle.
Meanwhile, Gurjar vowed that she would not wear slippers and also not wear garlands at public programmes until the lumpy virus effect subsides. The Mayor had organized a havan at the JMCH HQs and all the councillors and officers participate in the programme.
