Hanging Bridge at OTS crossing to make traffic smooth
Jaipur: For the first time in Rajasthan, a bridget of street structure will be constructed at OTS intersection in Jaipur to make it traffic signals free, which will give the feeling of a hanging bridge. Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has issued a tender for the bridge, which would be the most amazing bridge ever in the state due to several of its specialities. It may be noted that JDA has already started work on B-2 Bypass intersection, Laxmi Mandir Tiraha and Jawahar Circle with the aim of making these places traffic signals free and OTS intersection on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg is next where the work would start. Tender has been issued and the last date for submission of tender for the project costing about Rs 150 crore is 12th September. Not only a bridge will be constructed, but the entire intersection will have a glimpse of the history of Jaipur in a beautiful manner. Work on the project is expected to start by October and complete in one year. The intersection witnesses heavy rush of vehicles and after the bridge is commissioned, vehicles will not have to stop anywhere. Vehicles going from Gandhi Circle to Jawahar Circle will be able to go directly through the bridge.
