Hameed Mewati takes charge as BJP Minority Morcha president
Jaipur: Newly appointed President of BJP Minority Morcha, Hameed Khan Mewati took charge at BJP Headquarters on Sunday. He reached the BJP Headquarters amid beating of drums and took charge in the presence of National President of BJP Minority Morcha Jamal Siddiqui, LoP Rajendra Rathore, Dy LoP Satish Poonia.
Poonia said that BJP gives opportunity to capable people, rising above caste and religion. Mewati said that minority communities have influence on about 40 seats in the state. “We will present our demands before the party forum and the Central leadership. We are confident that in Rajasthan also the party will do work of giving tickets to minority community in good numbers,” he said.
On the question of CP Joshi & Chandrashekhar not attending programme, Mewati said that Joshi had gone to attend a programme while Chandrashekhar rarely attended such programmes.
