Guv reviews tribal area schemes, asks officials to rope in youths

Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra, while addressing a special review meeting of the development schemes related to the Tribal Areas Development department at Raj Bhawan on Saturday, said that it should be ensured at all levels that the people of scheduled areas get proper and timely benefits of schemes being run for them. He gave instructions to take timely action to fill the vacant posts of various cadres in tribal areas.

Governor Mishra instructed the officials to work to connect the youths in tribal areas with the mainstream. He called for working together to get the locals rid of poverty and deprivation.

Governor Mishra expressed his displeasure over scholarship cases and said that students in tribal areas must get benefit of the scholarship. He also directed officials to speed up the Jal Jeevan Mission.
