Guv, CS, other officials push for a ‘Corruption-Free Rajasthan’
Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra has urged for collective efforts to transform Rajasthan into a prosperous, affluent, and corruptionfree state. Speaking at the foundation day of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday, Mishra emphasized the prompt reporting of any instances of corruption, ensuring no perpetrator evades justice. He underscored necessity of gathering solid evidence to prevent individuals from escaping accountability. The Governor emphasized the need for the ACB to devise strategies that leave no room for legal loopholes, ensuring that wrongdoers face consequences without exception. He called upon public servants to demonstrate unwavering integrity at all times. Chief Secretary Sudhash Pant added that swift decisionmaking and immediate implementation can significantly mitigate corruption risks.
Director General of Rajasthan Police Utkal Ranjan Sahoo noted the effective operation of anti-corruption offices. He urged officers in govt departments and vigilance to actively contribute to making Rajasthan corruption-free.
DG of the ACB, Ravi Prakash Meharda, emphasized the economic ramifications of corruption, highlighting State’s anti-corruption efforts.
