Guv calls for positive use of AI; challenges, threats discussed
Jaipur: The Governor Kalraj Mishra, while addressing the concluding session of the ‘Cyber Security Hackathon’ by Rajasthan Police at Rajasthan International Centre on Thursday, stressed on preventing cybercrimes and said the police should develop a scientific system to effectively deal with it. He spoke on the positive use of Artificial Intelligence to prevent such crimes.
Mishra said that there is a need to create awareness about deep fake, fraud in net backing and other crimes. He instructed police to take immediate action in matters of cybercrimes.
State Information and Communication Technology Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that cyber attack is a war between good and bad.
“Efforts should be made to provide opportunities to the youths to use AI and strengthen the police force,” he said.
Director General of Police UR Sahoo highlighted the importance of the event. Director General of Police Cyber Crime Ravi Prakash Mehrada said that in this hackathon, a team was formed and worked for 36 hours to stop cybercrime. Mishra gave awards to the winners of cybercrime research, analysis and other work groups. Earlier, he made everyone read the Preamble of the Constitution and read out the Fundamental Duties.
