Guv attends National Gaur Brahmin meet

Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra while addressing National Brahmin Conference organized by the Gaur Brahmin Mahasabha at Birla Auditorium on Sunday said constitution, culture and nation are one. “Equality irrespective of caste, religion, class has been given highest priority in our constitution,” he said. Governor called upon Brahmin community to take a pledge to stay away from evils like dowry, superstition, alcoholism. Education Minister BD Kalla said that the upliftment of society is possible only with mutual cooperation and values. Public Health Engineering Minister Mahesh Joshi said that Vipra Welfare Board was constituted for first time in the state. Former Deputy CM of UP Dinesh Sharma said that it is the responsibility of Brahmin society to create awareness and preserve the culture. Braj Kishore Sharma, Mahesh Sharma, Vijay Haritwal, Ramcharan Bohra, Abhinesh Maharshi were present.
