Gudha hands over ₹5L to deceased truck driver’s wife

Jhunjhunu: Minister of State for Home Guard and Civil Defence Rajendra Singh Gudha handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to Manisha, wife of Ram Niwas who was driving the container carrying the REET question papers from Kolkata that met with an accident killing him on the way, at her residence in Udaipurwati village on Friday.

The state government has already deposited Rs 5 lakh in her bank account in 2 installments. That apart, Manisha has already been appointed as a home guard on compassionate ground.

The owner of the container will also pay her Rs 2 lakh. Moreover, the mishap case has been reopened and she will get the accident claim amount when the necessary investigations are completed.

Meanwhile, Manisha has said that BJP MP Kirodi Lal Meena showed her path while minister Rajendra Gudha delivered the justice to her.
