Gudha corners collectors, revenue officials over martyrs’ relief package
Jaipur: The issue of benefits not reaching to the families of the martyrs echoed in the Rajsthan Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday. Minister of State for Sainik Welfare Rajendra Singh Gudha said in the House that the Collectors and officials of the Revenue Department do not cooperate with the families of the martyrs at all.
In response to Sandeep Sharma’s question, Gudha said that the families of the martyrs are given 25 bighas of land and Rs 25 lakh under the package. Where 25 bighas of land is allotted, the relatives of many martyrs do not like to take it after seeing the land on the spot, they do not like that land.
“There are many provisions for the families of the martyrs according to the provisions of the state govt, but the officials do not cooperate,” he said.
