Jaipur: The CGST Jaipur has detected misuse of Input Tax Credit (ITC) available under GST law by collecting fake bills through bogus firms. The Anti-Evasion Team of Jaipur Commissionerate had a tip off regarding wrongful GST refund taken through Jai Ambe Glass Company.

After investigating the information, it was found that fake bills and bogus firms are being used by the taxpayer firms. After verification, the branch raided 7 places in Jaipur along with Ajmer on Jan 13-14 during. The director of firm Yash Goyal was arrested and produced in court which sent him to judicial custody for 14 days.
