Govt’s replies on SC issues are unsatisfactory: Sampla

Jaipur: State govt has failed to give satisfactory answers to queries raised by the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC), before & during twoday state-level review meeting here, NCSC Chairman Vijay Sampla said on Thursday. While concluding the two-day state review meeting on Thursday, Sampla further said that NCSC had sought information regarding action taken reports in the cases of atrocities against the Scheduled Caste people, development schemes for them and various other crucial matters, but Raj govt’s replies were unsatisfactory.

“Besides, the state government also failed to provide the concrete information of beneficiaries to the NCSC regarding the imple-mentation of various schemes for economic and social welfare of scheduled castes, centrally sponsored schemes, central sector schemes, and state govt’s schemes regarding housing land, employment, scholarships & others”, Sampla said.
