Govt’s policies are giving relief to animal herders, farmers: Gehlot

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Friday that the state government’s policies and programs are realizing the resolve to provide maximum relief to the animal herders and farmers. Gehlot was addressing the economic assistance distribution program for Lumpy disease on the first day of Rajasthan Kisan Mahotsav on Friday. “Financial assistance was announced in the budget for the purpose of providing relief to cattle herders who lost their milch cattle in the Lumpy epidemic. In its implementation, Rs 40,000 are being sent to the accounts of cattle rearers across the state through DBT for two milch cows per family,” CM said.
