Govt’s major shakeup: 40 IAS officers transferred in overhaul

Jaipur: In a major administrative reshuffle, Rajasthan government on Wednesday transferred 40 IAS officers. According to an order of the Department of Personnel, ACS Akhil Arora will continue to head finance and excise department, and Anand Kumar on Home, Jail and Raj State Investigation Bureau. T Ravikanth has been moved to Urban Development and Housing; Dr Samit Sharma, Secy, Ground Water & PHED & DIPR Secy; Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secy, Industries, DMIC, Bhiwadi, IDT; Sandesh Nayak has got entry to CMO as Special Secy and Sunil Sharma is new Commissioner at DIPR. Meanwhile, ACS Subodh Agarwal has been appointed as Dir General of Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute; Abhay Kumar has been given charge of the Public Health Engineering Dept and water resources including others transferred.
