Govt working to make Rajasthan, a leader in energy: CM

Jaipur: CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said the State Govt is working with determination to make Rajasthan leader in field of energy and to strengthen infra for drinking water and irrigation. “The State Government will ensure all necessary financial resources towards realizing this resolution. The MoU signed on Wednesday between Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) & State Govt will prove to be milestone in achieving the goal of developed Rajasthan,” the CM said while addressing virtual inauguration ceremony of Jaisalmer Solar Power Plant on Wednesday. He said the production of renewable energy from 400 MW solar power plant in Jaisalmer today by ReNew, a leading company in renewable energy production, is an important step towards making the state self-reliant.
