Govt working continuously for devp of Mangarh: Gehlot

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took a review meeting of the development works of Mangarh Dham on Saturday. He also reviewed the preparations for PM Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Banswara on November 1.

Gehlot said that the state government is working continuously for the development of Mangarh Dham, a pilgrimage for the tribals.

Gehlot also urged Prime Minister Modi to accord the status of monument of national importance to Mangarh Dham so that a true tribute can be paid to Govind Guru.

The CM said that he has written to the Prime Minister twice demanding that Mangarh Dham be declared a monument of national importance.

Earlier in August this year, a letter was written to the Center on behalf of the Chief Minister regarding this demand.

Gehlot directed to complete the various works being done by the state government at Mangarh Dham in a time bound manner. Along with this, instructions were also given to complete the necessary preparations for the proposed visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Banswara on November 1.
