Govt should apologise, rebuild temples: MP

Jaipur: BJP MP Sumedhanand Saraswati on Monday said that the state govt should apologise and rebuild the temples demolished in the name of road widening in Rajgarh of Alwar district.

He said that those who had authorised land deeds should be compensated and their houses be rebuilt. The MP also demanded a judicial inquiry in the matter at a press conference held in BJP HQ.

Saraswati, who was part of the team constituted by the state BJP to investigate the temple demolition case, submitted a factual report to BJP State President Satish Poonia on Monday.

On Saturday, a fivemember committee headed by BJP state president Satish Poonia visited Rajgarh, Alwar.
