Govt overhauls policies to boost investment climate: Min Rathore

Jaipur: Industries and Commerce Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore held a press conference on Wednesday to discuss the upcoming Rising Rajasthan Global Invest Summit. Rathore highlighted the achievements of the ‘Double Engine’ government, emphasising that the summit represents a proactive shift from the previous administration’s mismanagement and wasteful expenditure.

He stressed that the summit is a key initiative in the first year of their tenure, aimed at attracting investment and creating job opportunities for the state’s youth. Rathore announced that 25 IAS officers have been tasked with engaging international investors and managing state interactions. He also outlined reforms including the strengthened Single Window Clearance System and new policies such as the state’s data policy and ‘One District, One Product’ scheme. Criticising the previous administration for selling RIICO land and inflating land prices, Rathore highlighted textiles, tourism, renewable energy, & health as key areas, signaling a major push for Raj’s economic progress.
