Jaipur: The state govt has amended the House Rent Allowance rules to clarify and streamline the claim of HRA by government employees. Under the amendment, if a government employee goes on leave or temporary transfer, he will be entitled to HRA at the same rate at which he was drawing before the leave. However, if the leave exceeds 120 days, specific conditions will have to be followed for the payment of this allowance.
