Govt amends allotment rules to meet deadline

Jaipur: To achieve the target of distributing ten lakh leases in Prashasan Shahron ke Sang (PSKS) campaign, the Rajasthan government will make certain changes in the allotment.

As per the new arrangements for which orders will be issued soon, leases in cases of old settlement, 90A and approved lay out plans will be issued within 20 days.

Survey of colonies settled on agricultural land before December 31, 2021 in which 10 per cent construction has been completed will be done and camps will be organised to issue leases.

In the colonies where more than 60 per cent of the plots have been constructed, Pattas can be issued from the survey plan by keeping a twenty feet wide road there.

The officers who are best performers in disposing of such cases will be engaged as resource cum training officers in the local bodies where the performance is poor.

It may be noted that the government had set the target to distribute 10 lakh leases in the campaign by March 31 but 7.25 lakh leases have been issued so far.

To expedite the process, a committee headed by UDH advisor G S Sandhu recently held a meeting and took decisions to make changes. As per the committee’s decision, orders will be issued soon.
