Govind Devji all decked up for celebrations; Guv Mishra extends wishes

Jaipur: Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated with grandeur in Jaipur on Thursday and Lord Krishna will be seen wearing dresses studded with pearls, diamonds, and stones. The Govind Devji temple situated in the walled city is decorated in its full colour and special arrangements have been made for the devotees to mark the special day.

The panchamrit abhishek will take place after the Mangala tableau at midnight. Thirtyone rounds of gun salute and special fireworks will also take place on this occasion. The devotees will also be given prasadi after the arti.

Governor Kalraj Mishra and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has extended greetings and best wishes to the people of the country and the state on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. Gehlot has asked people of state to enjoy festivity.
