Governor flags off ‘Yashaswini’, CRPF women team’s bike rally

Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra flagged off the Central Reserve Police Force’s women bike team ‘Yashaswini’ from Albert Hall on Sunday to the Statue of Unity located at Ekta Nagar in Gujarat. The team of CRPF is on a tour of India from Shillong and Srinagar on October 5 with the message of ‘unity and inclusivity’.

During the function organized on the occasion, Mishra described the journey of national unity and harmony as immensely important. He said that spreading the message of women empowerment through such campaigns is exemplary.

The Governor said that this women’s bike team will surely inspire the new generation and wished the team all the best for the journey ahead. Inspector General of Police, Rajasthan Region of Central Reserve Police Force, Vikram Sahgal gave detailed information about many such campaigns organized throughout the nation on the Amrit Mahotsav.
