Jaipur: Governor & Chancellor Kalraj Mishra, while addressing the special convocation of Maharaja Surajmal Brij University, said that it is important to honour people for their achievements so that others draw inspiration from them.

Mishra conferred Honorary Doctorate in Law to Dr. Dalbir Bhandari, Judge of the International Court of Justice at The Hague and awarded D.Litt. Honorary degree to Member of Lok Sabha and eminent actress Hema Malini. Higher Education Minister Rajendra Yadav said that the efforts of the state government have increased opportunities for higher education for girls and their enrolment has increased.

Dr Bhandari and Hema Malini, while describing the Constitution Garden as an important innovation, said that it depicts the cultural values of the Constitution in a simple way.
