Gold worth Rs 90 lakh hidden in man’s rectum seized at Jpr airport
Jaipur: The Customs officials seized 1121 grams of gold worth Rs 90,12,840 from a passenger at the Jaipur airport. The accused passenger, Mahendra Khan Mehrat of Sargaon, Beawar, was carrying gold hidden in his rectum.
Doctors have extracted three capsules from the rectum of accused.
Customs inspector Pooja Pareek presented the accused in the Economic Offences Court where SPP Banwari Lal Takhar pleaded on behalf of the Customs department. Judge Sunil Kumar Meena ordered to send the accused to judicial custody for 14 days.
