Gold mine to be auctioned

Jaipur: ACS Mines, Petroleum and Industries, Veenu Gupta said that the result of effectively presenting the state’s side in the High Court by the state government has been that the opposition’s application was rejected. She said that this will enable the state’s first gold mine to be auctioned.

“Necessary formalities are being completed for the auction of a gold mine in Bhukia Jagpura of Banswara. There are deposits of gold, copper, cobalt and nickel. As per a rough estimate, there could be Rs 134178 crore gold reserves and Rs 7,720 crore copper reserves,” she said.

Mines Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya said that the Mines dept has laid emphasis on the exploration of minerals and e-auction of mines.
