GJEPC unveils gem & jewellery show in Jpr

Jaipur: The third International Gems and Jewellery Show - IGJS of the Gems and Jewellery Export Council, GJEPC, to increase export of gems and jewellery started in Jaipur on Friday. The event attracts foreign customers which will boost the gems and jewellery and the tourism industry.

Around 250 jewellers from 27 countries are participating in the event. The high-point is a delegation of more than 50 American jewellers participating in the show.

IGJS was inaugurated by GJEPC Coordinator International Exhibition Nilesh Kothari and District Industries Centre General Manager Shilpi Purohit. Kothari said that international jewellers will get an opportunity to directly meet major jewellery exporters of the country.

The show at Novotel Exhibition and Convention Centre in the Sitapura Industrial Area will be till April 14.
