Giri takes stock of free medicines

Jaipur: Managing Director of Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation, Neha Giri, inspected the medicine warehouse of Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur on Wednesday. During the inspection, the Director gave necessary guidelines regarding the smooth operation of the dispensary.

She took information about the availability and stock of medicines in the warehouse under the Chief Minister Free Medicine Scheme.

Expressing satisfaction over the availability of medicines, she said that 100% availability of medicines supplied under the scheme should be ensured in future also.

Giri directed the concerns person that medicines should be stored in a systematic manner in the medicine storehouse. The stock register should be updated regularly so as to avoid discrepancies and in the distribution of medicines, care should be taken that there is no situation of any expiry medicine being gicen to patients shall arise.

It also notable that During the inspection, 100 percent attendance of the personnel posted in the drug warehouse was found.
