Girdawar and three brokers caught with Rs 5 lakh bribe
Jaipur: The ACB on Monday nabbed a girdawar (revenue official) and three brokers red handed with bribe of Rs 5 lakh, said a spokesperson. ACB ADG Hemant Priyadarshy said girdawar Ramkishan Meena, and brokers Girraj Meena, Kedar Prasad Darji, and Mahesh Kumar Sharma were held on a complaint.
The accused had sought Rs 15 lakh bribe in the name of Aandhi Tehsildar. The accused had already taken Rs 3.50 lakh from the complainant before he filed the complaint. The complaint was verified under supervision of DIG Ravi and ASP Himanshu. Involvement of Tehsildar Aandhi is being investigated in detail. The arrested accused were being questioned.
