Gehlot transfers Rs 1.5 crore to bank accounts of artists
Jaipur: Folk art & social security festival was organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra located in Jaipur in which Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot participated as the chief guest. CM Gehlot was welcomed by giving turban, garland and memento. The program started with folk music and artists, who arrived from every corner of Rajasthan, performed in front of CM. CM Ashok Gehlot released book of Mukhyamantri Lok Kalakar Protsahan Yojana and also distributed musical instruments while distributing the amount for musical instruments directly in the accounts of the artists wherein about Rs 1.5 crore was transferred to bank accounts of artists under the Mukhyamantri Lok Kalakar Yojana. Meanwhile, addressing the gathering, CM Ashok Gehlot said, “The government has decided to provide assistance to the folk artistes. Even during the Corona period, the artists faced a lot of trouble and we helped all the artists during the Corona period.”
