Gehlot slams govt, urges Rs 10 cut in petrol prices
Jaipur: Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday, criticised the Central government over high fuel prices.
In a post shared on X, Gehlot noted that despite a 21 percent decrease in international crude oil prices over past 6 months, there has been no corresponding reduction in domestic petrol and diesel prices. “It appears that the GoI and oil companies are looting the pockets of the common man,” he said. He proposed that petrol could drop Rs10 and diesel Rs 8, if crude prices reflect.
