Gehlot seeks top-3 priorities to be included in Budget

Jaipur: Ahead of presenting the State Budget on February 10, CM Ashok Gehlot met ministers and MLAs at his residence here on Friday. The public representatives put forward demands for their areas to be included in the Budget while some MLAs also complained against the local administration and police officials. Discussions were also held about formation of new districts.

The CM asked top-3 priorities from each MLA to be included in the Budget. The CM will give gifts to every MLA by rising above the party line. Although some MLAs have given a long list to the CM but now they will have to trim it to top-3 priorities.

Ministers Parsadi Lal Meena, Mahesh Joshi, Rajendra Yadav, Subhash Garg and MLAs Joginder Awana, Sandeep Yadav, Wajib Ali, Rita Choudhary, Mahadev Khandela and Rajendra Pareek met CM. Deputy Chief Whip Mahendra Choudhary also met CM. Some MLAs complained and sought removal of SPs and Collectors in their respective areas. Tijara MLA Sandeep Yadav complained about Bhiwadi SP.

Minister Rajendra Yadav raised issue of making Kotputli a district. He even threatened to leave the Congress. Mahadev Khandela asked not to keep his assembly constituency in another district. Sandeep Yadav advocated for making Bhiwadi a district. Ministers and MLAs also pitched in to make new districts as this has become a big issue.
