Gehlot pays tributes to Phule, sips tea with locals
Jaipur: Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot paid tribute to Mahatma Jyotiba Phule by offering floral wreaths at his statue at 22 Godam Circle in Jaipur. Gehlot solemnly laid flowers and honoured the renowned social reformer.
In a lighter moment, Gehlot shared a cup of tea while engaging in casual conversation with familiar faces at the location. On a political note, Gehlot commented on the ongoing controversy surrounding EVMs. “EVMs have always been controversial. Earlier, BJP leaders suggested elections should be paper-based. In Haryana and Maharashtra, the election results contradicted the anticipated outcomes. Even those who previously supported EVMs are now questioning the system,” he stated.
