Gehlot meets Cong candidates, charts strategy of election results

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot met the Congress candidates on Friday. CM Gehlot discussed about the campaigning and voting. Among the Congress candidates he met were Amin Kagzi, Archana Sharma and Sitaram Agarwal, former ministers Dr Raghu Sharma, Mamta Bhupesh, Suresh Modi and Shikha Meel who discussed about the impact of Modi, Shah and Nadda’s campaigns in the state.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow just before the polls in state was the most discussed in Jaipur and the matter was also raised regarding the visits of Kirodi Lal Meena and Sachin Pilot. Whereas Chief Minister Gehlot gave mantra to all the candidates and asked to give responsibility to strong workers in the vote counting. Meanwhile, Kishanpol MLA Amin Kagzi claimed that Congress will get at least 120 seats. Interestingly, Congress leaders are contacting independent candidates and candidates of parties other than BJP ahead of the counting of votes in Rajasthan. On Thursday, CM Gehlot also met Governor Kalraj Mishra.
