Gehlot government committed to tribal students’ welfare & education in State

Jaipur: Students of tribal areas will now get opportunities to study in nearby residential schools. The state govt has taken an important decision to open 7 residential schools for the educational upliftment of tribal areas. CM Ashok Gehlot has given financial sanction of Rs 35 crore for construction of buildings of these residential schools. In 1st phase this year, Rs 5 crore will be spent per school. In the coming year, Rs 71 crore will be spent on construction work under 2nd phase and residential schools will be opened at these places. These residential schools will be opened at Sumerpur in Pali, Sawai Madhopur, Bhedoli-Boli (Sawai Madhopur), Girwara at Kekri in Ajmer, Jalore, Chikhali in Dungarpur and Sripura in Devli of Tonk and the student capacity will be 210 in all these residential schools.
