GEHLOT, BJP’S RAWAT SHARE BANTER OVER BEAWAR!

Jaipur: The demand for new districts in Rajasthan has started intensifying once again. The BJP leaders and workers, led by BJP MLA Shankar Singh Rawat, met CM Ashok Gehlot at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday and demanded to make Beawar a district. The manner in which the conversation took place between the delegation of BJP leaders and CM has generated ‘interest’ in political circles as jokes were cracked and the men, specially CM Gehlot and BJP MLA Shankar Singh Rawat, laughed their hearts out. The BJP leaders involved in the delegation led by Shankar Singh Rawat, asked the Chief Minister to announce in the day that Beawar would be made a district. However, one member of the delegation said that as soon as the demand for making Beawar a district is fulfilled, your (Congress) government will come back. in the jovial environment, Gehlot also quipped, “I thought that if Shankarji has brought everyone, you all will join the Congress party.” Everyone started laughing as soon as the CM said this.

After meeting the CM, when BJP MLA Shankar Singh Rawat was asked about this whole incident, he said, “Today we had met CM Ashok Gehlot for the demand of making Beawar a district. Someone else had said that the government would be repeated. Gehlot govt is going, how can this govt be repeated? There was defi nitely a joke between the CM and us.” The demand for making Beawar a district has been going on for a long time. Shankar Singh Rawat has also done a padyatra with supporters from Beawar to Jaipur for this demand.
