Gehlot approves Rs 157.28 crore for road works

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial proposal of Rs 157.28 crore for the development of main roads, non-pachable roads and missing link roads in various areas of the state.

With this, the road widening and bridge construction work from Pandiv to Kalandri on State Highway-38 in Sirohi at a cost of Rs 31.28 crore and Bishangarh-Bhavrani-Bhorda-Ghana-Dhundhara in Jalore, Pali and Barmer at a cost of Rs 56 crore will be done. Apart from this, a total of 156 road development works of non-pachable roads and missing link roads will be done in 7 assembly constituencies of the state at a cost of Rs 70 crore.

With this decision of the Chief Minister, the construction of new roads will strengthen the road system in the state and provide ease of movement for the general public. It is noteworthy that the announcement in this regard was made by the Chief Minister in the budget for the year 2023-24.
