Gehlot appeals CM Bhajan Lal to open Gandhi Vatika for public
Jaipur: Former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has appealed to the present CM Bhajan Lal Sharma to open the Gandhi Vatika Museum in the Central Park of Jaipur for the public. The Museum was built at a cost of about Rs 85 crore to convey Gandhiji’s message to the new generation. It was inaugurated on September 23, 2023 by Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and former Congress President Rahul Gandhi.
Gehlot said that the museum was not opened for the general public as the administration was busy with elections, but now the Lok Sabha elections are over and the new government has been in power for more than six months. “It is beyond comprehension why the museum has not been operational. I would request CM @BhajanlalBJP to open this attractive museum without delay. Gandhians should not be forced to go on a hunger strike against the administration,” he said.
