Jaipur: After the intervention of Chief Secretary Usha Sharma the BVG company has resumed door-to-door garbage collection work in the JMC Greater area.

The company ended the strike on Wednesday morning. In order to pace up the garbage collection in the city, BVG has deputed additional hoppers.

There has been no door-todoor collection of garbage for the last 5 days resulting in heaps of waste all across the city streets.

The BVG company had been on strike demanding the clearance of due payment of about Rs 14 crore. Chief Secretary Usha Sharma reprimanded the Corporation Commissioner in the review meeting of UDH.
