Gangster held after Other shootout in Jaipur

Jaipur: Gangster Ramjan Khan alias Raj Hooda, an accused in the Dera Sacha Sauda follower Pradeep Singh Kataria’s murder case, was arrested after a brief police encounter in the Ram Nagariya area of Jaipur on Sunday. It was a joint operation of Punjab police’s Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF), central agencies and Rajasthan Police. The dreaded criminal sustained bullet injuries in his legs and was taken to SMS Hospital for treatment. He was the sixth shooter in the Pradeep Singh murder case. The accused tried to escape from the spot but was gheraoed by the police teams.

He was living with two other students. The landlord did not get police verification done. Along with the gangster, Happy and Sahil are also being interrogated by the police. Additional DCP (Crime) Sulesh Chowdhary said that gangster Raj Hooda was hiding in Jaipur for the last few days. “The Punjab Police got information about his hideout in Jaipur. A joint operation was carried out by the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Punjab, the Commissionerate Special Team (CST) and Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) to nab the accused. At 2:30 pm on Sunday, the police teams reached his rented accommodation and tried to nab him,” said DCP (Crime) Sulesh Chaudhary
