Gandhinagar railway stn to have air concourse
Jaipur: Railway administration has started preparations to make Gandhinagar a world class railway station for which the administration has issued a tender worth Rs 180 crore. The station has been identified for redevelopment of North Western Railway. Under this, two new buildings will be constructed at the Gandhinagar station.
The main entrance building on Bajaj Nagar side will be threestoreyed, while that on the Tonk Road side will be two-storeyed. The main entrance station building will have various facilities like departure lobby, security check area with baggage scanner, help desk for passengers, etc.
Bajaj Nagar building will have a Mezzanine floor. The station will be redeveloped in sync with Pink City’s look. Green building facilities will be developed.
