Friends Arrested for Bank Robbery in Jaipur; Revealed to have watched YouTube videos for ideas
In a daring daylight bank robbery, two friends were arrested by the police in Jaipur on May 4. The robbers, identified as Subhash Meena and Girraj Meena, were caught with cash amounting to 5.66 lakh rupees, a licensed pistol, and a bike. During interrogation, the accused confessed to having watched videos on YouTube about ways to commit robberies. Shockingly, they also revealed that they had consumed alcohol before committing the crime.
According to Additional Commissioner (First) Kailash Chandra Bishnoi, the robbers had cut the CCTV and siren wires outside the bank the night before the incident due to online payment. The two criminals then went on to have a drinking party just before carrying out the robbery. The liquor was purchased from a shop about 150 meters away from the incident site.
The police are now gathering more important information related to the accused. The Jaisinghpura Khore police have seized a used pistol, a knife, and a bike from the possession of the robbers. It remains to be seen what further revelations come to light as the police continue their investigation.
