Jaipur: Jaipur, along with all museums across the state, is celebrating International Museum Day by offering free entry to tourists. Both domestic and international visitors are being welcomed with traditional Rajasthani hospitality, complete with garlands and tilak.
At Albert Hall, a large crowd gathered on Saturday. Despite the scorching heat, visitors enjoyed their time at the museum. After a brief lull, there was another surge of visitors, including school children on educational trips organized by their schools.
Visitors from other cities expressed their admiration for Jaipur, noting that they had visited all the heritage sites since morning before arriving at Albert Hall.
At Hawa Mahal, Superintendent Saroj Chanchlani explained that a special rangoli had been created at the entrance in honor of Museum Day.
