‘Form panel for sudden checking of fake teachers’

Jaipur: On Wednesday, the single bench of Justice Anoop Kumar Dhandh issued orders given while rejecting a petition wherein the petitioner accused of getting a fake teacher to teach in her place. In the order it has been said that the state government should form committees for surprise inspection of government schools and committees should regularly inspect schools to see whether real teachers are teaching or fake teachers. If a fake teacher is found teaching, then investigate and take action against the concerned teacher.

The orders further said that if the teacher is found guilty in the investigation, then FIR should be lodged and recovery should be made from their salary. Edu dept should take steps to display the photos of selected teachers and along with this, the concerned officer should issue orders to curb the teaching of fake teachers. If there is negligence in following the instructions, then strict action including dismissal should be taken. Edu dept should create a portal for complaints in this regard and the dept should submit compliance reports of court orders four times a year in March, June, September and December.
