Food Safety Office gets certificate from World Book of Records

Jaipur: The World Book of Records, London, has awarded a World Record certificate to the Food Safety Commissioner’s Office for conducting a record inspection of food business operators over 2 days, on August 7 and 8, 2024.

Pankaj Ojha, Addl Commissioner of Food Safety said that under the “Shudh Aaahar, Milawat par Vaar” campaign, initiated by CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, a record inspection was conducted by the department’s 97 food safety officers, who inspected 2,284 food operators across Rajasthan over two days, August 7 and 8. This achievement has now been recognised as a world record. The World Book of Records, London, has officially included this achievement in its records and awarded a certificate to the Food Safety Commissioner’s Office.

Health Min Gajendra Khimsar, Principal Secy of Health Gayatri Rathore, and Commissioner Iqbal Khan expressed their joy.
