Following protest, lecture on Sheikh Abdullah cancelled

Jaipur: The Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Abdullah lecture which was scheduled today at SMS Medical College campus has been cancelled following protest. The National Medicos Organization and RMCTA had raised objections that Sheikh Abdullah did not get any title. They have contended that no govt institution has given any such title to Sheikh Abdullah. Besides, Abdullah’s son Farooq Abdullah has started the campaign to revive Article 370 in Kashmir, which is against national interest.

The administration is on a back foot after objections from the organizations and postponed the programme.
