Following PM’s footsteps, CM travels by train to Jodhpur

Jaipur: Following the footsteps of PM Narendra Modi, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma on Sunday travelled to Jodhpur by train.

Like PM Modi, who had travelled to Ukraine from Poland by train on Friday (Aug 23) instead of a flight, CM Sharma on Sunday departed for Jodhpur from Jaipur on board the Jaipur-Jodhpur Intercity Superfast Train.

During the journey, the CM visited different compartments of the train and interacted with passengers. His presence delighted the passengers, including children, youth, and women, who eagerly took selfies with him. He spoke with elderly, sought their blessings and showed love affection to children.

In an exclusive interview with First India, the CM mentioned, “I traveled extensively on this train while serving as the in-charge of the Jodhpur Division. The information gathered by meeting the general public is authentic. This train mostly carries women, youth, and working individuals. Meeting them and listening to their issues provides an opportunity for solutions. PM Modi’s vision is connected to his hard work. Modi Ji works for 18 to 20 hours a day, which is inspiring.”

In Gotan, CM Sharma was warmly welcomed. He also listened to the grievances of people and told the media, “It is good to listen to small problems because if not addressed, they can escalate.”

During this, several people presented memorandums to the CM. At Nagaur’s Merta City, Sharma was given a warm welcome at Merta Road. During the welcome, the CM showed affection for children and adorned a child with a garland, which was earlier placed on him by the welcoming party.
