Focus on digital literacy, organized crime, and exam cheating on Day 2

Jaipur: On the second day of the ‘State Level Police Officers Conference’ in Rajasthan, key discussions focused on enhancing policing strategies. DGP Utkal Ranjan Sahoo praised the state’s police efforts in crime control and announced plans to draft recommendations from the conference for policy-making.

The session on cyber security, chaired by DG (ACB) Ravi Prakash Meharda, highlighted the need for a digital literacy campaign. Guest speakers included IPS officers Rajesh Kumar and Bhushan Boras.

Discussions on organized crime noted the successes of the Anti Gangster Task Force. A session on exam cheating, chaired by DGP Sahu, emphasized the positive impact of the SIT’s actions, restoring youth confidence. Presentations also covered crime against women, road safety, and internal security, with guest speaker Joint Director of IB Ramakant Gupta contributing insights.
