First phase: RAS 2018 interviews from today

Ajmer: Ending a long wait of the civil services aspirants, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission will start from today the interviews of the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services combined competitive (Main) examination, 2018 (RAS), said an official.

In the first phase, 300 candidates will be interviewed. The second phase of the interview will begin on March 31.

In the second phase till 7 May 2021, a total of 1,709 candidates will be interviewed. Thus a total of 2,009 candidates will participate in both the phases.

Commission Secretary Shubham Chaudhary said that at the time of interview, the candidate must bring all the original certificates along with photocopy to participate in the interview.

The candidates will have to follow the Covid-19 guidelines. 

The interview letters of 300 candidates of the first phase have been uploaded on the Commission’s website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

Total 60 candidates will be interviewed every day.

Interviews after court nod

RAS 2018 was conducted for the recruitment on 1,051 posts.

Earlier, the interviews for these posts were to be held from 7 December 2020, but the Commission had to postpone the interview as the matter went to the court.

The interview process has started after green signal from the court.
